Ah yes, David's buried Bus. You are taking me back to past memories of 1993.

Also, they are called Estates until you are on the wrong side of the Law, then it's Compound!

Kennedy Estate/ Kennedy Compound. Same place, both used in Past News reports.

That's a very good point. "Compound" does have a worse connotation.

Especially if you've cleared fields of fire.

Me and another guy from the Dayton area are going up but haven't decided if we're riding or not. I'm stuck at the John Wayne airport and don't know when/if I'll get home today or not.

Is there camping at the swap meet? Showers, etc ...?

Nope. Gotta leave them a ditch full of c4 somewhere they'll all flock to for cover. Makes life easier for those mornings you just dont really feel like pissing with another couple of Jehovah's witnesses corpses.

We just hosted a tent space traveler, Boondox (Peter) and his dog Barley.

He has a blog: http://travelswithbarley.com/

Cool guy. Barley was fun to have around the house for a night. Made me miss our old lab, Bosco (named after Bosco from The Third Watch).

Anyway, Peter is on his way to Minnesota for the BMW Rally.

He'll be going through NW Ohio today, stopping in Defiance, before heading into Michigan tomorrow. Look for him!

Hey that's cool Mark. Boondox shot me a few messages last summer about staying here on his way through but it ended up not working with his travel plans. Glad to see he hooked up with you this year.

That's pretty cool! I've been over to his blog a few times, seems like a decent guy. I still get a little misty looking at some of the picts since we put our lab mix down last year.

I've already made this offer to Meef, but he wasn't interested...so I'm gonna put this out there for everyone else:

if you are at all interested in getting a dog, I know someone who has a very well behaved, full-grown yellow lab named Buckeye that he's looking for a good home for. my buddy already has 3 big dogs and got stuck with a fourth by an in-law or something.

anyway, I've met the dog several times and he's very sweet and gentle. if any of you are interested, I can put you in touch with my friend...PM me.

Wauseon was great today. Nice to meet you Ohioroadrat! There are almost 500 vendor spots. Saw a Yale, a Pope, too many Indians and Harleys to count, also Henderson, Excelsior, etc...

Good times
