Poor little chap he seemed to be quite clean living untill he reached the UK, Hopefully he'll reach the SW by April cos I have a couple of GS weekends booked and am banking on him tagging along for the ride.
Better sort him out a little sleeping bag etc. |

So after Bacon got on a bit of a bender the other night I was feeling pretty guilty until I saw SYDADVGS post above - since he's done it before I feel I can post this up..
![]() At least he made it to the bog in time... Next morning we were going for a christmas shopping day out up in Glasgow but he was feeling pretty poorly when we woke him up. ( with some difficulty) ![]() Once we got him up and fed him a proper breakfast he felt well enough to start the journey ![]() But as soon as the heater in the car warmed up he flaked out and missed all the sights on the road to Glasgow- I did wake him up for a coffee and lunch stop at The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar But I don't think he was fully recovered from his bender as he went a strange colour at the mention of raw oysters , Cullen Skink and Kippers He didn't even look out the window at The REst and be Thankful In fact he wasn't much company at all that day, only perking up when we got to Motorrad in Glasgow where he helped Scott find some parts for Mrs Wully's F650 GS ![]() He was just a little short in the trotters to ride the GSA.. ![]() Just can't make up his mind... ![]() To be continued...

twist your wrist!!!

it was mentioned but to my knowledge not followed up on so here is a bacon map of his adventures.
unfortunately a link like when you get directions from point to point in google maps can not be done. if someone has a better web site to use that would let us connect the points and gather mileage in the process. please speak up before i put more time into this. i only have garmin north america so if it was done on that i would need help from inmates that have garmin your country and time to volunteer. also i was thinking i could collaborate with anyone that might want to follow my pin cushion placements with linking any of the pics in the thread. so as not to bog the thread down on the map subject, just pm me any suggestions or comments on the map Go Bacon

Wow, top class everyone. Glad to see Bacon's enjoying Scotland. Wish i could take him but im kinda busy and not on the road atm.
Can i make a suggestion though. Theres a xmas toy run for Yorkhill hospital in Glasgow on Sunday. Maybe Bacon would like to take part in the charity run delivering toys n gifts to the sick kids. Its a good day out and im sure he would enjoy it
