Anyone have any experience, or thoughts, on stacking one ballast on top of the other ? I'm thinking of pulling my HID converted 910's out the flea market and mouinting them on the Rallye GS. I bought new bulbs and ballasts for them and the ballast are so light and compact I was thinking of mounting them below the ballast that run the headlights. Those ballasts are mounted to a SW Motech light bar that runs under the beak. Any thoughts ?

Mike, I'm certainly not an electrical guru but those ballasts do generate heat. On my '09 GSA, I made a bracket out of flat stock aluminum, placed them side by side and never had any issues. Stacking them might not let them cool properly.

Here's how I hung mine:

Stacking ballasts is fine, they do not interfere with each other.

Try ti have as much fin exposure as possible while stacking so that they get the maximum ventilation.
