This kind of bike porn should be banned. Now this is all I am going to do all day, staring at every detail in these pics...

Can you completely disassemble it and take photos.

Seriously, can you snap a few closeups of the airfilter/airbox area and some that show how the rear tanks/subframe attach and its hardware. Thanks!

How about a picture of the front of the bike with the plastic on. Please?

I will try to take some pictures of the pieces you guys requested this weekend.

Flood,

Not sure where the owner is going to ride it. Normally he does a 2 week trip to Africa every year, but not much offroad other than that. I guess he just likes nice things

Beez,
I was interested in the rear tank attachment as well since I might eventually buy the "normal" version of the bike - if the new LC4 Adv ends up being similar.

As far as I could tell, from the top they attach only with the two bolts behind the fusebox (see pics I posted), then some bolts from the sides and also the ones in the fenderwell (or maybe they are just for the oil reservoirs). The rear subframe is not visible anywhere. Maybe it is integrated/molded into the fuel tanks?

The two small black tanks in the back, I can see that is says oil on the lid, but I think at least one of them is used for the required 3 L water reservoir on the bike. On the 660 it was integrated in the bashplate.

But very nice pictures.
Can't understand why you will wait until spring to start it up!? ;-)

$40K? Let's see, all I gotta do is mortgage the house (again), convince the wife that my life won't be complete without it, and sell every other motor vehicle I own. Then all I need is some riding talent...
