I am about that much money into my various max farkled: 950s/ 530EXC-R to be Rally bike/VOR 530. What I need is time. How much is that?

As luck would have it I was helping a friend shop for gear yesterday and we went through Scuderia West in SF to look at Rev'it gear. Well, Scuderia happened to be holding Johah Street's Rallye bike:

I personally had not seen one of these in person... and all I could do was

They look so well put together! The first person who worked there said that one had been custom setup for Jonah and was the one he would use in the Dakar.

They also said they were not allowing folks to sit on, ahem, Mr. Street's Rallye... hey, I didn't ask them for a test ride! (it did have a plate on it

)

The next person who worked there said that because the Dakar folks had just changed the rules, making anything above 500cc too big for the race, Jonah would not be allowed to use that bike in the race... really screws with the privateers, who now have to build EXC-based rallye bikes. Bastages. That person did say that perhaps he would be selling this one

it retails for about $33,000 if you're interested.
