Hi,
it´s an exhaust from a German manufacturer. Took it out for the first ride yesterday. Deep sound and I believe a liitle more torque in combination with a Wunderlich blue air filter. just google hattech.de The exhaust has a reasonable price and the quality seems ver good. Best regards for Christmas |

There´s a good clip on youtube with a g650 gs. They guy ride the same Hattech dark style as I do.
He films it with and without the db eater. Here´s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KctFJwJKO8 By the way has someone here have any experience with the tail and tidy license plate holder from r&g. I´m also looking for mini led turn signal indicators that fit well on the Xco. Thanks for your help in advance |

Yes, I listened to that clip. Sounds sorta like my Ti Akra system on the XCo.
Maybe it's just me but, darn, these things do not seem THAT much louder without the baffle installed. The tone is different. The non-baffled sounds deeper in tone and a bit louder but, I don't know if it's a huge amount louder. I run my Akra with the baffle in. On the signals - I probably differ from many others. I don't like the look of aftermarket signals. They give the bike a "patched-on" look. I know I know, so I HAVE patched-on a lot of other stuff. I prefer the current stock signals and I think they give better visibility, especially at wide angles. If you are good with basic electronics, you can make up a module that will keep the signals on at full intensity as running lights and then make them flash on and off as turn signals. Make a module that passes through your tail light running current to the turn signals but pass this current through left and right side normally-closed relays. Then trigger the relays with the turn signal pulse wires in order to make the lights flash when you hit the turn signal button. You'll have to also wire-in a resistor to the relay trigger in order to create proper resistance to make the flasher pulse at the correct rate. I think I posted more detail way back in the thread somewhere. |

Well, thanks for the reply, I agree with the turn signals. I just don´t like the look of the rear end with the license plate.
The holder from r&g will make it difficult to fit the original signals though. I´m kind of in the middle of decisions at the moment. By the way, took out hte Xco for som 480 km´s with the new Hattech exhaust and am very satisfied with the sound. It seems to be a liitle to loud for german regulations though. I measured with a cheap db guage while my son rode by close to 90 db. My tires are down to the limit now and I´m going to order the TKC 80´s even though I have new Conti Escapes laying around the garage. But since I´m heading out for some enduro trails in france this spring I think these would do better. I wish everyon here in the forum a happy new year ![]()

Just cut and splice wires.
You do not need anything else. Brand Vicma. http://www.vicma.es/epages/Vicma.sf/.../INTERMITENTES In Spain not allowed the small number plate on this bike so I had to put back the big one. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The large number plate is only superimposed to compare the size.
