Couldn't be more clear. Thanks danielks for the photos and explanations. I now understand what to do. I'll just need to buy the rear right cover and the screws that come with from the dealer.
Let you know... |

I do not had a PowerC, but installed a BP soon.... Use KN air filter, and LeoV exhaust... GREAT diference from OEM. Specially with the most free exhaust end cap. For a easy ride on the road, save about 5% to 10% gasoline... for fun and heavy trothle, drinks a bit more, but the engine response is GREAT!!! not so expensive as a PC system, and stills works. and better of all, PLUG AND PLAY!! Here in Sao Paulo - Brazil, we have an annual noise and enviromental governamental inspection.... and when I go to it, have to put the OEM exhaust and air filter, and plug off the BP... REGARDS! |

Yes, I'm running the same type set-up now for 2-3 years. Booster Plug with Akrapovic system and Uni filter/open airbox. Runs great.
I've been reading about the Power Commander lately, though. And, the companion Auto Tune module. Sounds good. Allows total re-mapping, even for various gears, and constant on-the-fly manipulation ( a la stock) via an O2 sensor. I think maybe I've just gone too long with dropping huge amounts of cash on my XCo. leafman60 screwed with this post 02-21-2013 at 04:09 AM |

LEAF,
I just think that, as you said, It's too much money to spent on a XCo..... my 800GS have a little much, but it deserves, and use it to long travelling..... diferent bikes, diferent money... looks the PC with AT sounds good... but, many things on the bike, more things to broke.... equals to less reliable. regards!!! not as sent from DynoJet, you would have to do a custom install where you pick up the signal from the wheel speed sensor. The only reason I would do a map for each gear is to manipulate the dwell time on a quick shifter.

Au contraire ! From the Power Commander website cited below- Power Commander V Product Introduction The New Power Commander V is loaded with tons of new features. Below you will find some Power Commander V features.
And this - You have an option to connect the gear position input to this Power Commander V and each cylinder can be mapped individually for every gear. http://www.powercommanderv.org/tag/controls/ leafman60 screwed with this post 02-22-2013 at 04:47 AM |

Rekluse Clutch over 2 years now. I only did it because I got a really good deal on a used one from an inmate. Overall I like it for off road and has saved my butt on some hard stuff... but not so much for city really. Read my link for more.
