You should probably make this a ride report.

I think it clutters up folks trying to get information.

Anybody looking to buy? This bike HERE in the FM is in my home town. Looks like a non-ABS in pretty much totally unmolested condition. I could store it for you until you're ready to come here and ride it home.

No affiliation.

Sorry if I've missed an earlier part of this thread, but why do you want a tacho at all?

From my understabnding the Beemer won't allow itself to overrev anyway.

My image wasn't sized properly either so I've taken it off!

Probably more of a habit than anything else, something to look at when on boring bits of road. The more I ride it though, the less I think I need it!

Ok, so here is some of my pics for the day.
Today is Cinco de Mayo. So I found it fitting to make this stop.
Alright yes my big head is in the way. So here is a better view.

Great Florida weather for May. Start temp 64 end temp 74.
Riding along I found this ranch with a nice entrance.

Well that's all folks. Have a great, Cinco de Mayo

I thought this was a picture thread - "...let's see your XCOUNTRY!" It's part of the dang title of the thread.

Thanks

That was at the BMW Georgia Mountain Rally in Hiawassee. Friday night, after my ride, we had major bad weather with very high winds. Lots of people left for home the next day.

I've got a question here for those who use the Unifilter.
It"s time for me to first clean It and realized that there is different technics to clean and oil It. First using gas or white spirit instead of special air filter spray to remove the old oil. Then everybody agree to clean it in a soaped warm water. But there is different way to oil It. It seems that the best is to use a special air filter oil like the bel ray or silkonene. (not in spray) squeezing It in a platic bag.
My question here is since the Unifilter foam comes glued with a plastic holder part , what type of product is the best to clean the foam (remove oil) avoiding to disolve the glue that attached the foam to the black plastic part.
I also don't find It easy to squeeze the foam since It can't comes apart from the hard plastic. Any advice?
Thanks

I use Simple Green, then the Unifilter cleaner and spray oil.
