This is the one you want, PM'd You http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-R1200R...#ht_301wt_1141
Thanks Johnny!

Meanwhile I've got a price from Andorra - €86.45 (about 72) for the mounting kit, not so cheap :(

But, does the part you quoted include the screen too? - it looks like this from the link:

sadly I'm not much of a photographer. This is 'Bella'on the Bokor mountain in Cambodia.

And a tiny Cambodian on her. Still taking all the abuse I can throw at her. I have to say though, recently bought a Honda XR400 and now Bella is feeling a little low and a bit slow.

I don't think so, just item 2 in the parts diagram

Great screen though

That UK one is 50 + Post and you can sell the R12R screen bracket, to offset the cost

Thanks Johnny,
I've seen a few more R1200R's up close - is the screen you're talking about really tiny, only about a foot tall and just covers the instruments and a bit more?

Yep, here's the Genuine BMW R1200R screen (+ XCountry BMW fitting frame) on our bike, courtesy of Lewis

There was a smaller one sold for the Xcountry. Can't see any pictures of It on the net. I think that's the one you're talking about Simon.

Two tone grey

So in my search to fine an xcountry for sale I stumbled across this

http://motorcycles.smartcarguide.com/listing/39970685/

It looks like a factory paint job. Did bmw ever release a two tone grey xcountry?

An 09 in the US should be yellow.. Understandable that some might repaint it. I think other countries got other colors, but US was Yellow/Grey for 09 and Black/Grey for 07.

Price seems high, IMO, for a stock bike, also I'd be leery of anyone who posts a picture in 2002 cell quality...

Hi Johnny and Lewis,

This looks like the screen I've seen on the R1200Rs. Yes, it's small but soooooo neat isn't it! I can also see how much the airflow would be diverted from the torso.

So, I'll keep looking on fleaBay . . .

Exactly. Way too expensive and yeah real nice photo I would steer clear on the price alone.

Are you sure those are the only 2 factory colors, my factory color is black/truckbed liner black :

I have the exact same 2 "offroad" bikes as well! I rode my XR400 to prerun the Baja 500 course 3 years ago, and I doubt the XCo would have fared very well, simply due to ground clearance (and of course it needs a decent shock).

p.s. I'm always a little amazed when you post XCo pics from Cambodia - that feels a world away from me (probably because it IS! ). It is straight up noon here, the sun is out, and it is -2 degrees F (-19C) by the way. So no I haven't been riding mine lately!

If you can't find one, this might be an option:

It's an MRA Roadshield, it keeps the wind from your chest and is not too obtrusive when you are riding standing up.
Price, hardware and brackets included, is about 90 euros

Yeah, I don't know about this one. Ive never seen or heard of gray stock color on any XCo.

High price, bad pic BUT this may be only because of someone out of touch with up-to-date technology and XCo pricing.

May be worth contacting just for the hell of it. I bet the bike has been painted, maybe to match another bike someone had. Hey, people do that.

I'm still enjoying my XCo. Runs like a bat outa hell.
