the triple brick walls kept out your noise... though it may have been the few old's and the local reds that i had as well. actually the kids where abit spooked by the chairs sliding on the floor above the resturant...suppose it didn't help that it was the ghosts of the people who had died thereover the years...

Hi Bluey,

That's how the whole "hill billy" thing gets started isn't it? When the good ol' folks in da' hills choose family first (over friends) ... and then the next thing you know the place starts to resemble Tasmania.

PS: Am born in Mudgee, raised in Orange BTW... Hope you blokes have some nice rides there in the Central West...

Thumb That was a good photo pictorial Gricho!

Central West NSW... great riding!

Cheers Gricho! There were some great shots in that ride report you linked to! (there's heaps of fun water crossings and trails around that Macquarie/Turon/Hill End area... eh!?)

I'm definately feeling a tad homesick now! (raised in Orange).

PS: Is there anyone in here from the central west area (Orange) that ever rides ouround the Mt Canobolas/The Pinnacle/Four Mile Creek area??? There used to be heaps of trails and tracks out that way (25 years ago!)... great riding with everything from mazes of firetrails to enduro-like single trails...

Just curious???

G'day Jaq

You got me motivated and I went for a ride that weekend out to Goobang NP near Parkes.
