Trails End BMW

There is a rumor here (down south) that Trail's End BMW in Fairbanks has been absorbed into a Harley Dealership. Is this true?

I think George is selling Enfield Bullets out of his old place but the BM part's long gone. Just went to dinner w/ George late last September. He seems to be doing pretty good

Word is that George bought my old K75S....it was too small for the guy I sold it to. Heck, it was borderline for me, GusGus must have looked like a spider on the K.

It was some time before I saw myself on it. I was amazed it did so well.
Nice ride, loads of fun and it handled so darned well. I wish I had ridden it to D2D for the slow race. Not sayin I would have won, but maybe a better showing than I have done with the Valkyrie.
But I am sure with most other bikes I might do better....

George is the right size. Especially since he seems to be the incredible shrinking man.

Damn shame- George, and his island chain of anular BMW shops stretching back into the woods, was a classic!

I wonder who got all the old bike parts outa the grass? and the annual tire mountains!

Every part, old car and tire is still there. George sells Royal Enfields and is still the go to guy for airheads and even some oil head issues. Still rides almost every day including his HD V Rod, but most of his riding is on a Enfield hack. He sold the BMW franchise to the local Hd, Honda, Polaris, Victory dealer 4 years ago.
