Nightfall means food, drink, fireside stories and whatever that was being passed around

Jamin's sealed dinner bag being warmed on a sterno stove. Good stuff.

Even some steeds got to rest by the fire.

Yeah buddy! Miller time!

Good times even as the rain became more intense late into friday night-saturday morning.

I was smart this time and brought the tent rainfly. A tougher tentless rider beat the rain by sleeping in the bathroom I would just have weaseled into someones tent.

Morning and the DV is covered in water and snow.

looking east to Echo canyon where brokenspoke, design4d, jamin and me were going to ride to.

With the snow level around 3500 feet we were going to be in for a challenge on our way up Echo Canyon. If it was passable we planned to go east to nevada, big dune, beatty, titus canyon and back to furnace creek.

Jamin

Design4d's 950SE

No pics of broken as he is way to fast to film on the KTM 625

My favorite thing to do in DV is check out all the mines and equipment. With the short days we didn't have time to do much of that but i'll be back for DVD.

Soon we hit the waterfall we had to climb up. Traction was limited on the loose and slippery rocks.

But with a little help everyone made it.

Soon the canyon opened up and we were on top of the world.

The way up was tough

The way down was fun.

You're partly correct, it's actually "Multi Tasking" with left hand holding a penthouse! It doesn't really matter to me since I'm ambidextrous.
