looks like it but i would say not. if you take the two "backward" ones and turn them around on the rim, the tread would then be backward. looks like to make them look the way we think they should they would have to manufacture a left side and right side tire.

Yes they are. The tech who slapped them on the rims wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. Some tires are asymmetrical and some are directional. These are asymmetrical and the sidewalls should me marked "outside". The directional will have a rotation arrow.

My guess is the shop gave the job to the noobie as they didn't want to fight working those large tires. The noobie probably already got caught screwing up a set of directional tires once before and was thinking that 2 need to go one way and 2 the other. Now this noobie needs to learn about asymmetrical tires.

Or, they're assymetrical AND directional, and they're mounted correctly...

I had the 4x4 version. 1956 international s-120, 3/4 ton short bed. The truck had 21k miles at 30 yrs old. A local plumbing contractor had a welder mounted in the back, so it would drive to the job site, stay for days or weeks, then back to the yard. It had 12 leafs on the rear spring stake plus an overload. OMG was it stiff! I spent a whole day playing with spring until I got a good ride, and was still able to fill the bed with cut oak. It had a tree speed and a 240 Black Diamond straight six. I was able to find a four speed that I modified to fit. That made a whole different truck out of it. The four speed had that synchronised second gear, much more friendly than the non synchroed three speed. And with the granny gear the truck would walk up anything. It funny, I had a new blazer at the time that I had the Binder, and I drove the Binder most of the time.I repainted the truck from pink to a desert tan and cream. I didn't think I was tough enough to drive a pink truck.
