I can't believe I read this entire thread.... and I do not currently own a truck that runs.

However I will share a couple of my favorite picture of an old Power Wagon I found on one of my rides.

I'm amazed it's still there in that condition; every WDX that I've ever seen moldering away somewhere is gone, presumably snapped up for a restore.

The owner must be one of those people that will not part with anything. Either that or they can not be found easily.

That truck is on a heavily traveled state highway and is passes by thousands of motorists/motorcyclists a day. I would guess if it could be gotten it would have been by now.

It is a shame for sure.

I'm amazed the tires are still in decent (apparent) shape. Better than some of the metal...

These are one of the coolest trucks out there. I'd own one in a heartbeat if I could find one. Move over XC70 mall crawlers and let the real Volvo 4x4 through.

That's kind of what I assumed-- one of those who would rather watch it rust than give or sell it to a good home.

I drove a WDX once when a guy and I swapped trucks for a little drive at a Powerwagon rally in the Colorado mountains: it rode like a forklift, and I couldn't wait to have my M37 back. Cool looking, though.

It's not there anymore. Somebody snapped it up, presumably to do a restore. I hope that that is where it went, anyway.

Had to be someone from here, or that is the mother of all coincidences!

Pretty bad shape. Not worth restoring with any hopes of recouping even a small fraction of what it would cost. Someone must really like them and have really deep pockets. More power to them.
