Not my cool truck but i the one wrenching on it and i get to drive it now and then. Things actually a 2001 but looks like i rolled off the assembly line. Runs mint just snapped these pics with my cel phone the other day when i was fixing some wiring problems with the ABS an trailer brake lights.

Its running a 450hp 14L Detroit Series 60 threw a eaton 13speed.

Its not the most powerful rig but line it up against the new 550hp detroit's and it will walk away from them every time. We have a few of the C15 Acert(twin turbo) Cats than are quicker but the old beast still looks and sound better. I done quite a bit of work to this thing first rig i have ever really dug much into the engine and i try my damndest to keep the thing running so well.

Heres one of the Cat powered units up at the tuck rodeo in qubece a few years ago (obviously the Light Blue Freight shaker). It was running WAY outa its class that truck was running againts the unlimited class and its running a BONE stock 475 cat. That class is for guys running modded out 600hp rigs. Still that good old cat never even hicuped and pulled just fine if not spectacularly fast like some and seemed to not break a sweat. Still the quickest truck in our fleet and dont look to shabby even still. Those trailers they hauling are well over 100,000lbs and that hill is an 8% grade so its pretty nutty to watch the races. Some of the higher end modded rigs are making so much torque they twist the frames so much on take off one steer wheel leaves the ground.

This was my FiL's work truck. An early 70's Ford with a 360ci V8, and it was converted to run on propane. FIL called it "little cloud." The rumble from those side-pipes were just awesome, and he got compliments on it everywhere he went.

The only surviving picture of my 1946 Chevy. Hi compression 327, M-21 trans, 12 bolt rear. This truck hauled ass. I still marvel at the fact that I didn't die in it. Picture taken at the Mint 400, early 80's.

On one particular trip from LA to Vegas to see ZZ Top at the Alladin, we made the 300 mile trip in 3 hrs and 45 minutes. In mid day traffic.

Probably a very true statement....it was originally a rust free Arizona shop truck that belonged to an old time Porsche mechanic. Amazingly solid truck, all original metal underneath. Slight damage to the front left corner at some point in its life and that was about it.

It sported a 2332 with 48IDFs, 10.5:1CR, engle fk45 and AJ sims ported 044 heads, combined with a 3:88 R/P....the truck moved out pretty well.
