It's not a great place to try to take a pic of, and the hole is not nearly as big as originally thought. I don't know what to think. The DRZ guru chimed in saying I'm phukked (but and I'm not going to try and tell him he's wrong over there. He's pretty well unquestionable about bike tuning for us with DRZ's). I've run the bike, no leaks anywhere. I've run a rag into the hole, after running the bike, no leaks. There is no compromise to the main case except some grrs that I will smooth down and might throw some JB weld over. I don't have the time or place right now to tear it down, but I still think I'm good. So if I'm good, I'll tear it down, fix the wires, and goo the hole up with silicone and rock on. If not, I'll be buying a new cover.

Nope....he isn't using enough duct tape

Glad it was a simple fix George. Who the hell thought that was a good place to run a wiring harness.

I have a whole roll of duct tape in the truck, but there weren't any ducts to tape. Wires broke, electrical tape. The string was just another stroke of genius of mine.

KLR parts are bigger, so they must be more expensive.

Weekend is looking very nice for weather. Any interest in hitting the Green Swamp?
Next ride will be April 4 in Holly Shelter and big time in Angola.

Otherwise my plan is to trailer my bike and boys 90 up to E-town to play.

Saturday is my son's second birthday, and we have family spending the weekend with us from VA, so it doesn't look like i'll be getting out.

I'm a pretty short fat guy, my inseam is about 28". On my DRZ, after cranking the rear spring as far down as I could, and a couple thousand miles of breaking everything in, I was able to put the stock seat back on instead of the lowered gel seat I wasted money on. Don't let the height of the bike be the main choice of what you end up with, because you probably already know that once you buy a bike, you automatically want a bigger faster motor. I do the tiptoe thing on and off road, usually only one foot at a time and haven't had a problem with it.

I won't have the bike on the road for a little while. Just got "stuff" filling up all my time. Biggest is going for an interview on Wednesday. Cool thing is that I met another rider looking for a place to ride after living in beautiful sunny SOCAL. He'll be stopping by soon. If I get the job, I'll be hitting him up for places to ride on the other coast.

Dude, if you get to the left coast you won't need much direction to find a place to ride.

Next ride is April 4th. I would like to start early if we can, how does 8 for breakfast and ride until 4. We have 6 Sundays to ride, so lets make best of them.

I have an email list of us (ADV) and people who have contacted me about wanting to ride. I will send out email once we hash out start time.

WOW, sounds like the suck is strong as it ever was.

We never miss weekend liberty here at Camp Livingroom, even while maintaining a strong operating tempo at TLZ Couch.

Out

Oops. Looks like April 4th is Easter.

Sat is a hunting day, but anyone off on Friday 2nd or Monday 5th?

Otherwise it looks like April 11 is next ride.
