Yes I agree, you need to try the small track in Harrels NC
its not to difficult to ride and lot of fun
Not as many riders as Castle Hayne

Well guys looks like I am going to be out again this weekend. Would love to meet you for B-fast. I just realized how bad my chain and sprockeds are. The tips of the teeth on the front sprocket are gone...(Thanks Chris) And the chain is basically shot.... so as soon as I can get about 90+ bucks I will get back on the road... The way things have been going lately it might be a while.... I will keep an eye out and see what yall are going to do Sunday A.M.

Give me holler...

its ok for you guys to be scared of riding with the DR-Z's, especially since George has modded his up. With no turn signals, I doubt even I can catch him.

Wynn, we were just talking about how we needed a chase driver to provide medial and logistical support, so maybe you can still be a part of the action.

" that there front sprocket sure has mighty small teeth on it"

Great time at the track tonight. I have to admit I rode S-L-O-W and didn't really get any air, but I was able to keep the bike upright and not eat any roost.

I'll let Chris tell his own stories.

Oh, and three bikes makes a class at the track.

We moved ride from Sat to Fri night at last minute. Track was muddy, but we had it all to ourselves. Also had a stuntman from movie studio come along to give us pointers and help make suspension adjustments. He even gave George and I a litte class in the garage before we left.

Our intentions were to learn more about our bikes and improve skills in a controlled area. We figured that 30 miles off the paved road was not a good place to practice jumping if you got hurt or broke the bike.

I did get the bike up in the air on the table tops, still working on finer points of landing but I can launch ok. Still getting the feel of the bike in the air. The mud was slowing us down, but its probably for the better since no one got hurt. There was a lot of mud on the tops of the table tops, most riders clear this but I was landing right in it. Never crashed on a jump, but did fall off in few tight slow corners.

I learned that when you are lapping someone A LOT they have ample opportunities to roost you, and that if they cannot keep up with you they wont ever get roosted.

Also the owner of the track will not let anyone ride without riding boots, its that important for safety. He even loaned George some boots so that he could ride.

Glad to hear they weren't rentals cause G-dog would have opted out. I'd like to come watch one day, my bike isn't made for jumping anything higher than a speed bump.

You had a couple of typos.

You're right. But now, I have to buy some. If anyone sees something cheap, please let me know.
