Plating Enduros in New Mexico?
I have been told by the New Mexico Dept of Motor Vehicles that the M/C title must say "for on-road use" (or something like that) to get it plated and usable for the street.
Can any of you NM riders provide a short list of bikes that don't fall into the standard D/S category (XRL, DR, DRZ, EXC etc) that can still be plated for light street use here in New Mexico?
A great little bike would be a WR250F but the DMV says no way.
Thanks for any and all information!

I am taking my little KDX220 enduro to CO and having it street-legalized there first, then bringing it back down to NM. They wouldn't let me do it here in NM.

PM barko1 He had a NM plated KDX, older KTM 520, and DRZ-400E at one point. He may be able to give you some pointers.
