Fairing goes on tomorrow. Gotta get the battery on the charger, though I fear it might be toast.

Almost time to ride, but there's still a bunch of stuff to do to it before I head out on it.

It's not a Phactory restoration, but it looks pretty damn good, IMHO.

Still hurts like a mofo, but my thigh is probably worse. I'm shaping up to have a pretty gigantic bruise, I think.

Thanks for the comments and thanks for asking.

Yowza wowza.... lookin' good. Love that color!

and yes, it's always the battery! Go for a sealed unit, no threat of spilled acid etc etc.

It's funny. It's almost goldish under the sun, but pearly white at other times.

I pushed it outside today for the first time and was absolutely gobsmacked. Tomorrow, I'll try and get it wrapped up and ready to ride.

Looking good Dave! But I've gotta ask why the valve covers are swapped side for side and the front fender is on backwards?

I, um, still have some things to tend to. If you turn on the left turn signal, the right one on the rear lights up, too.

The front ones are right, though. Whew.

Thank you. I've spent the last 11 months trying to do at least one thing every day to move it ahead.

Even after it's "done", I know I'm going to be replacing fasteners, finding a new seat and a bunch of other little tidbits as my budget allows.

I recently toured the Buffalo Trace distillery on a recent ride through the Bourbon State

I think you will like it

now,
I need to dash off a missive to Fitz for his recent comments about Big Fords in his editors column

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.
