KTM Hack

I have been looking for these pictures for a long time and just found them. I ran across this guy who built a home made leaner for his KTM woods bike. Takes about 5 minutes to put it on or take it off.

Thats pretty cool . How would a rig like that handle the rough stuff ? Looks like a good way to introduce the kids to riding.

I don't think he took it out in too rough of stuff, he said the reason he built it was to take the kids for rides. I should have taken more pictures of it because he did a real nice job on the hack suspension.

Here's a pic of my toy

It's a 1958 Ural M72. The sidecar is a bit older, has no suspension and no brake. The tub is on leaf springs.
Bike is a good runner, a 750cc side valve engine with a modern gearbox. 4 speeds en 1 reverse.
I am going to sell it soon..Have to make place for a new project; bolting a sidecar to my BMW R100Gs

It used to be a R100gs PD but it has the tank and headlight fairing of a R65gs (danish army). It will have a Ural sidecar soon. Going to turn it into an offroad toy

A pic of the Ural I had a few years ago, perfect machine...

I will post some pics as soon as the rebuild of the GS starts.

Grtz. Erik

Can we have a warning before the Nimbus outfit comes up, so that I can get the sunglasses ready ?
