Here is a link to my thread for the build. Also, I noticed yours is a Suzuki GS. I've had a '80 750 and a '84 550T. Solid bikes. What model is yours?

I will see it again in a few days, I am going to the ROT Rally in Austin Tx and he will be there and have it installed on his bike.
That''s a shame. Especially after all the work you put into it. I look forward to seeing more pictures of your GL1500 rig though!

Thanks Claude. I have no idea what you are talking about, but here's a link to my build which shows just about everything. Maybe you could let me know if I have the above mentioned hardware? I'd appreciate it.

Does this mean you need to take a test to drive a sidecar for your license ?

Correct. Here in Washington state you have to get what is called an "endorsement" on your drivers license for both motorcycles (3) and three wheeled vehicles (Y). To start the process of getting my "Y" endorsement I first had to take a 25 question written test. When I passed that, they gave me my learners permit. At that time I also scheduled my drivers test, which won't happen until July. With the learners permit I can drive wherever I want, but I'm prohibited from driving the hack with passengers or at night.

I got this put together right at the end of last year, only put a couple thousand miles on it so far. Figured I'd show off my need for a paint job . Shame too, if I woulda waited about ten more minutes, my sunset picture would've been way cooler!
