wire wheel sets with aftermarket goodies /up-graded compenents run circa $2k +/-$3-400

Seriously, do you know when you can posts some pictures?

Do you need more people to help with the "field testing"?

It's just money!! The stuff grows on trees around here. If I don't spend it on wheels I'll spend it on something I don't need. Duh

2000 +/- 300 in MC math never equals 1700, it equals 2300-2700.

Maybe different for this though, so, I'm still paying attention. 1600. That I could do.
Sure, why not? It's not an investment to me. Every farkle I add makes me happy. And happy is good.

I ride a 650 V-strom not a BMW or KTM, paying nearly 1/2 of the cost of the bike on wheels is not practical in my world.

I dont need "upgraded components" I just want wires of similar quality as what a DR650 (or any other jap dual sport) would come with?

Is a basic wheel set possible in the $1500 range?

$1,500 is close enoughh to the lower end of the price possibility,,,i can't pull that off if my hubs cost me 500-600 each to sart with though,,,hence the search for low budget/oem/used stuff out there,,,and i don't even go to all the cheap chinese stuff available,,,it falls apart just looking at it

Don't want you to lose money and you know the crowd loves quality. So...I, as the big a-hole in the group, will lighten up and realize that you have to feed your folks and pay your light bill, at the very least.

Sorry to have whined. This would be a boon for the DS events, to be able to swap them on.
