Racing bikes in Venezuela, 195x
No, I'm not riding them, I took the pictures.
Ferrucio Dalle Fusine on a Moto Guzzi Airone 250cc. Later (197x) he became the superb technician for Johnny Cecotto, Daytona 200 winner and multiple World Champion ![]() The Velocette MAC 350cc I used to race, after I passed it on to the next rider ![]() The Gilera Saturno Corsa 500CC I used to race, with it's next rider ![]() Lambert Danzer on a AJS 7R 350cc racer. He taught me how to ride, and the first steps of racing. After that we were fierce competitors but great friends ![]() |

When I saw the title of this thread, I knew it was going to be great.
Thanks so much for posting these. I remember when Cecotto was setting this country on fire for a short while back in the day. Something of a wild man IIRC. The bikes you rode are some of the bikes that inspired me as a youngster and a teenager. To see them posted with some personal history attached is a real treat. ![]()
