The Man Hisself stuns the crowd at BV June 2006

One of the highlights of Westfest in Buena Vista, Colorado, last summer for many people I'm sure, was getting to meet 'The Man' himself!

Mr. Warren Weber, June 30, 2006 Buena Vista, CO.

Mr. Weber drew quite a crowd when he came to visit the campground, he even hiked up the steep hill to the upper campground to tell stories with the boyz.

It was a great pleasure to meet him.

I had posted this in Thumpers for an unrelated topic but I thought you might enjoy it here as it fits with the Vintage theme of this thread. Enjoy.

This thread makes me want to keep my KLR. Jeez, if they can ride like that on a hard tail Harley I should be able to conquer the world with my KLR.

That may be the same bike Jay Leno has (or something very similar)...if so, he rode it on TV the other day and the rubber thingys at the bars are flexible and allow the rider to hang on a little better when the going got tough. Neat bike.

Thumb Really enjoying it!

Just caught this thread, can't wait to pass it on to my mates. Thanks for bumping it. All respect to these guys! Going to phone my dad, he was a rider in the 50's. Hope my kids get to see some photos of me.
Cheers!

Great pics. They bring back a lot of memories. Thanks, man.

My dad started riding in 1928 and was a Harley mechanic all his life. I can remember being at the races with him in the mid '50s back in Indiana. He didn't race, but the guy who owned the shop he worked in did and my dad did most of the work on his bikes.
