I would imagine the belt on that Konig disc valve setup has almost no stress on it what so ever.

Yeah, the detail in the photos was very busy...
Had to look closely myself. The plug wires and caps gave it a strange look...

My first try at loading a foto...

This was one of my first "builds"... '83 (I think) RM 500. Sold it years ago to fund my Road Racing...

I know that the Yam 490 gets alot of play here - but this thing was just a Beast. My buddies refused to ride behind me because of all the shrapnel that came off the rear tire....

God I miss the sound of air-cooled 2 strokes lined up for the start of a supercross!

I'm insanely jealous... I know that they supposedly have quirks and such but damm do they "speak" to me. And that is a very clean example. Ys mind if I post it on the 2 stroke blog? (see my signature line below)

Really cool. I like the reverse cylinder setup. Must be great on a hack. What's the story on this?

Best street Two Stroke?

Love the fotos, guys.

They've got me squirmin' to start my next project... Me thinks that soon the old street two strokes will start to pull some serious money, so I want to get mine now, before they are unaffordable...

So which to get? I've narrowed my focus to an air-cooled, spoke wheeled, two stroke - 350 cc or bigger. I guess an RD or Kawi / Suzy triple - which is the best? Pros and Cons of each?

I'm not a purist, so it will get upgrades - chambers, dual front disc, and it has to at least be able to modded to handle relatively well (my other bikes all have upgraded suspension, so I don't think I can ride something that might throw me off...). Something along the lines of what is pictured here...

Any help is appreciated..
