I know of one for sale a few miles from me for 1400. Great running condition and every farkle that came with them, including the big glass bulb gauge to put your compass/watch in.
If I had the money....

Saw this today on a message board. A nitros injected Kawasaki H2 750... for the STREET! Truly frightening potential!

Poor picture, but this is my current project.

Received it in this state, but some work needs to be carried out. So far the headlight has gone, oilsystem put back on.

This bike can't run on premix, so I don't hope that too much damage has been done, as the PO didn't run it, but only had it started for a short while. The ignitionswitch was positioned in the peephole for the stroke oil level, so that will now be moved also.

The bike looks ok, but hasn't got alot of love into it, the wiring is made in RED, rubber inlets are radiatorhoses, and some domestic cables has been used.

Growing up in a little town(GooseLake,Ia) 250 people on a good year, rode many of gravel roads and trails with this bike, also used it in the winter for trapping. I would trade my 1974 honda cr250m and several other bikes for one of these. Oh the memories.
Here's mine, bought brand new in 1978, TS185C. I rode it in high school and college, then only sporatically thereafter. She started to run worse and worse, then only on the choke, then not at all. Upon this discovery (last Summer), I thought to myself that she'll never get any better if I don't do something about it, in fact, she'll prolly get worse. I found the issue in the carb, and the motor sprang to life. Since then, she's gotten new Hagon rear shocks, fork rebuid (including filing of the pitted fork tubes and filling w/ epoxy and re-filing/smoothing), fuel petcock rebuild, brakes, and she's back on the road!

If he didn't ride it for any significant time then the engine should be fine. Keep at it. It's a bike VERY worth the effort and the bodywork isn't bad.

Thanks Steve, I have a real soft spot for the A series Kawasakis. I have 2 A1 Samurais that I bought as parts bikes for the A7 but I think I will be able to put togehter 1 good A1 from the parts I have also.
