Turbocharged 2T snowmobiles are all over the place around here. I think in this day and age they're got it figured out pretty good. I'd love to feel the powerband on a turbocharged two stroke anything

i'll just put this right here, speaking of turbo 2 strokes...

(just a pic from the net)

i've ridden a turbo'd banshee in the sand once. didn't quite run right, had a super narrow power band, but holy shit when it was in that sweet spot... hang the eff on.

i experimented with a turbo'd KX250 motor for a little bit. never got too far with it as i'd just blow out crank seals or break stuff, and that was just on the bench. never put it in anything.

4 strokes are just way, way easier to do forced induction.

Never ridden snowmobiles, and had no idea... most of my 2t knowledge is from older standup Jet Skis and 70's Jap bikes...

I agree though, I wanna ride a turbo'd smoker. Talk about pucker

That got me thinking about my old RZ350f2, they had a different fuel cap setup that was recessed into the tank and had the overflow run through an internal pipe that exited at the rear of the tank just above the rear tank mount and to one side if I remember correctly.

I remember this because mine had an RGV set and tail piece on it and that overflow was directed right at the riders testicles.

I over filled that tank exactly once.
