1979 Yamaha RD400

I just traded my '79 Yamaha RD400F for a KLR650 (2007).

Looking forward to some adventure rides on the KLR!

I'm gonna miss the old 2 stroke, but no regrets yet. The KLR is a blast.

It don't hold enough fuel to make it to redline.

Old joke from Colorado.
If you want a Bull Taco,
order Rockie Mountain Oysters,
and put them in a corn tortilla.

If it was an early car in good shape that would be a fair trade.
The later short wheel base cars and E's are going for well above $30 g's
If it was an early S he did very well as they are @ 100 now

A neighbor had a very nice 914. I said "so, what is that...a really cheap Porsche or a very expensive Volkswagen?"

I still think he kills my tomatoes every year.

That's EXACTLY what I thought. Where's the face palm emoticon.

KLRGeoff, we're not picking on you we just can't fathom trading what looks to be a clean RD400F (with chambers yet!!) for a run-of-the-mill KLR650.
