I like riding in the woods, but I haven't done much on two wheels. I just got my first dirtbike and it has worked muscles that I haven't been using sitting at my desk. Both my boys have bikes so I had to get one to ride along. They are 14 and 11 and don't have much experience on the bikes either so I'm not going to turn them loose on the ANF trails yet, but soon I hope.

So far I've met some good people on the trails at Silver Lake and hope to see more.

I forgot to mention that there is somebody else on this site with the name ROPEMAN. He is not the real ropeman, I am, he just joined here first.
Well you just got posts from the two best Tally guides and all around FF in the area. You are in for some FUN....

Well save one for me, preferably a dank-ass skank. That used to be my specialty. BTW, we done an easy ride of 84 miles yesterday. Lots o' sugar sand out in the ANF. Lots o' formerly difficult water crossings now EZ.

And, glory be to Gawd, my 540 be running strong, and not leaking all that badly.

On Sunday AM from Silver Lake to give my two stroke what for.

Very Much So!!

Really like the GS, and when I get ready for anopther BMW will be more than happy to $upply me with one. The 690 really fits my schedule better right now, and I think with two sets of wheels it'll be well able to do both street duty and dirt: from trails to dual sporting, to ADVing, to DS Loops, to going to lunch, to 50/50ing, to morning commute, to curb hopping, to....
Only thing I don't see it doing well is grinding away interstate miles
