Trouble is, there are semi-elaborate convenience stores on the apalachicola and Hosford ends of that SR 65 run, where travelers into the outback can gas up.

Let he who would wanna man that counter 50 hrs a day waiting for the likes of me to come in, buy 2 gallons of gas, and ax for fountain drinks (which they don't have) cast the first stone.

The only excitiment to which he or she'd beable to look forward is the occasional armed robbery.

Strikes me that rural places such as this would benefit from a stand alone, unattended gas pump, prompted by credit or debit card, and open 24/7. I figure a fellow could recover his $30,000 investment sometime during the ice age after next.

Anybody riding the ANF this weekend? I'm sure Hal will be starting out from Silver Lk Rd on Sunday, but I might only have time to ride Saturday morning.

Alas, no, I'll not be riding the ANF this w/e. Next w/e, now that's a different story.

I'll Buzz you shortly after I wake up (which probably won't be too early)

Yessir. Couldn't find any reviews online, so I bought one.... at $21 how bad can it be

Doubt it'll last real long, and I am not sure how it'll work on non sandy stuff.

I do have a takeoff Scorpion if it sucks though

I had a nice long ride Saturday with plenty of liquid sunshine! It wasn't bad until my boots started filling up with water :)

I spent the day re-re-re-arranging new couches and chit, and did a little pre assembly prep work on the KDX

I am in need of a 22x1.5 mm Flywheel puller if somebody'e got one handy. If not, I'll order one tomorrow. The Honda starter will get one more project finished so I can cross it off the list.

Goin good man!! Long time no see! When you gonna bring that 450 back down and ride some sand

I need to pull the flywheel off the Honda to repair the sprague clutch on the starter. The rollers, springs and followers are toasted... Pretty easy fix once you can see 'em.

Also working on a little KDX 200... Could use some parts for that too if you have what I need laying around

Wink

Buzz,
Haven't rode the 450 nearly as much as I want to but put 12k miles on my 2011 klr650 this year. I've got a friend from Savannah that wants to meet up in the forest and go ride so the ole 450 needs to stretch its legs a bit and get muddy. I'll yell at ya when we plan to come over that way.

Send me a list of what you need and we'll check our stock!
