Seems like the guy I work with has been building a lot of dog boxes for people here lately... even had a guy come in today asking about materials for his dog box. I feel sorry for you guys who ride in the ANF. Thankfully I hunt on private land so I won't be getting in your way this year.

Those things are incredible. The most BP I've ever played with was loading it in cartridges, and my uberti repro 1861 colt navy. Nothing better than massive chunks of lead.

Sorry, didn't see this until this evening. Mine's a '99 I think, tho' all the microfiche, like motomike14, say that the last year for the 50mm's was '98. Mine is titled (and plated) as a '99, but what year it is is anyones guess. I don't think KTM makes a sharp distinction among and between the year models.

You'll love your 300, Buzzpersonage, so it'll stay in your stable four, maybe five weeks?

Don't know if it was us old fux, or some others, but we go almost every Sunday AM, leaving from Silver Lake ORV trailhead, thence to a variety o' places including everything from single track to groomed forest road, with occasional pavement so as to score gas, oil for us two stroke aficionados, and of course, Geritol by the quart -- which helps us maintain a cruise ship chow line pace.

Every now and then one of us risks banishment from the group by getting in third gear. This is always sternly frowned upon.

Yes, and speaking of cruise ships, me and my spousal unit just returned last night from a cruise up and down the Alaskan coast. Normally, these endeavors are not overly adventurous, but the following did give rise to just a bit of it. And yeah, the number is 94.

Yep, I was told you were in the group. From the story it looked like a KTM sponsored ride! Shipman put some miles on his bike, I think he had less than 10 on it before that day.

Maybe I can get out and ride before hunting season kicks in and I become AWOL again.

Funny thing is, we were missing some KTM folk who normally ride with us. It was a non-challenging ride, corvette friendly.

Hal, Imma try to 'splore some Sunday on the DR. I need to keep some fuel flowing, but I am not sure when/where. If I can make it to Silverlake in time I'll roll with you guys. If not I'll probably stay on the FA roads, and try to get a tank full type ride.

Sweet! That's probably more miles than I've put on the motorized stuff in two months.

492 miles. 3 days. One broken pipe mount, melted fender, and a tore pant leg. All in a weekends work. Now, can someone give me a 628 kit?

Remember kids. When traveling, always eat food that your body is accustomed to digesting. This way you'll never have "issues"
I take this very seriously as the photo below will show
