True enough--CS sprocket swaps ain't really a roadside affair on a DRZ. Which is why I'd stick with 15/41 on a trip--per Rob, this offers a comfortable 70MPH cruise speed and trail riding is still doable. Sounds good to me.

Torque wrench? I put my CS sprocket on with an adjustable wrench and loc-tite, and was not able to torque it much at all. The one I removed was finger tight and doing just fine! I have been checking on it, and its staying tight now. I bet I could change it again with a 10" adjustable, which would double as an axle wrench.

I have a brand new 15/44 and a 110 link chain, but I almost want to try 15/41 per Rob and see what it's like in the trails. If I get to do the TAT this Spring it'll be on the DRZ.... I doubt I'd feel under equipped- mechanically

Keep in mind, my 15/41 was with 17" wheels. I'm gonna ride my KLX/DRZ this weekend with 15/43 on my dirt wheels. Me & Madhouse are riding the MS Hill Country TAT. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ha Ha Ha Ha

If I had 500 I'd probably only need to rotate out half of them

It just bugs the shit out of me a BMW Certified Service Center would replace parts that they knew were failing or had failed while doing a repair due to a recall.
Makes no sense

What brgs are you doing Scott-- swingarm? FD pivots? The weenie pivots are unique, but the swingarm brgs oughta be conventional. Don't you all have a Motion Industries jobber in TLH??

And what was the recall for?
