Where was the photo taken? I assumed that it's in the US somewhere but they all seem to be on Africa Twins - a bike not sold in the States?

If not US, then Germany or German riders?

Somebody needs to teach that Baldy fella how to link to pictures instead of attaching them, doesn't he know what that does to the owners bandwidth...

I'm not sure that I understand. You mean go around the water instead of through it? hmmmm... then he wouldn't have fallen off in the middle of a giant mud puddle and had to swim to shore and call his buddies to tow him out and laugh in embarassment and ... well that's what memories are made of

Yeah I'm back from my shoulder surgery and starting trouble already.
Cheers!

Looks like a German license plate to me. DD maybe, as in Duesseldorf?

Wombat,

I didn't know you were having surgery. Hope it went well! Are you coming over for our little gettogether in May?

Hutch

The sub-marines of motorcycles

This photo sure reminds me of my Africa Twin stuck in a riverbed in Botswana. I was alone and to hitch a ride on a donkeycart to my house , because we lived in a village . So there are not much traffic to hitch a ride . My wife had to tow me out of the riverbed with my Land Rover . The bike was stuck right onto the belly pan . the water came right up to the seat . If you notice the hump on the tank is actually the air-filter . I had so much fun and COOL trips , but never took photo's . But now I am a real shutterbug . As soon as my bike starts up , I have my camera on me .I really love this site , and my wife says that I am obsessed with it . Hey it is all clean FUN at least .Thank you BALDY for a cool site
