Oh, sounds like a couple of adventures trying to make it there! Yikes!
Sorry to hear that. No worries. We hope to see you at the next one.

Motomeic,
Was that you on the KTM? Thank you for coming. You are a rock star being the only adv rider. The guys at www.expeditionportal.com have some good pics up of your bike. (if that was you)

The guys from the Good Gun Foundation were there. Great people. It's nice to see such responsible shooters, since after all it was the irresponsible ones trash that we were cleaning up mostly.

I'm so proud. We all came together no matter what background!

Thank you all so much! Its all just starting to sink in. I have so many thank you notes I can't wait to send. I enjoyed meeting everyone!
WOOHOO!!
What a great day!!! I'll have tons of picks up soon. We had 220 folks sign in and many more that didn't.
Tons of trash were removed and great people were met.
THANK YOU!!
I'm asking that anyone who wants to share pictures posts the LINK as a comment on www.fourpeakspickup.blogspot.com so they are all located in one place! Thank you!

Motomedic,

Even if you were with me when the trailer bearing dissolved itself into shavings, without the repair parts on hand, well ... let's just say it would have been quite difficult to fix. A flatbed was called in to transport the limping trailer to my house for repair. At least I managed to save the hub.

But you're right - I'd have enlisted your professional knowledge if you were present!! I guess being a man of talent is the cross you have to bear (and sharing it with the rest of us FF's).

See you out at the next event/ride.

Adventure rider present

It was very nice to meet you out there and to talk about bikes again even though it has been a very long time since I have ridden. I thought I would search and post a picture that I took that day of you.

Cheers,

Still figuring that out. I'm trying to finish this one. Its amazing the kinds of things that I am still working on for the last one.

Once finished working on it every night I need a couple months to go on some adventures and then I'll start working on the next one and setting a date.

First off its great to see the sponsors getting some press and print. They deserve every bit of it.
Secondly, I've signed up to be a member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition. You get the magazine they send out, the latest with the cleanup in it, and it makes you feel great.
BRC and Tread Lightly are just great and I want to support them. Enough talking.
The link is below to the digital version of the BRC magazine about the clean-up. Enjoy!!
