Since it was getting into the fall we were the only ones camping. The nights were getting cold.

And the pool had seen better days

And the toilets had seen better days as well...but most toilets in Italy looked like this.

You could either take a tunnel through the mountain that was something like 11 km long or you could go up and over...what do you think we did?

More...Last one!

My last entry to finish my trip post, so many pics this thing took me to long to finish, anyhow...

After having a great ride through the Alps the weather turned on us. Rain and COLD! Camping was done for the trip, it was early October.

Our next stop was Interlaken an extreme sports town. Since the weather was crap we stayed in a hostel. Initially we thought we would do some river rafting or sky diving...the only extreme thing we did was a hell of a lot of drinking.

Photobucket

The hostel bar was full of Swiss soldiers...nice guys...they let me try on there uniforms (being that i'm half swiss) and even gave me a cigar!

Photobucket

These two were making out all night to the delight of the whole place.

Photobucket

This guy was the ultimate partier. Note the "made in Ibiza" shirt.

Photobucket

After too much debauchery in Interlaken, we drove to my Uncles house near Montreux for some family time.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The weather was about to get really bad so we pulled a long ride from Montreux to Paris...the Rugby world cup was on...lots of fun.

Taking advantage of a break in the weather again we pushed on back to London for a long 10 hour day of travel.

the ferry back...and the end of the greatest trip I've ever taken. It was just too much fun, this trip entry could only describe the very surface of an amazing trip...hope you enjoyed checking it out!

Photobucket

Hopefully it won't be long too before i'm able to make my next great trip. Vancouver to South America....then a trip report for that!

it was one of the worst hangovers I've ever had! It was a big reason we stayed an extra day!

Nice

I'd say you did it right!!! How about that smell in the Church of Bones in Prague....yuchhh!! I commend you for taking all the riding shots, something I never get around to doing. You've convinced me to make the trip to Croatia.
