I stayed at Viento, and while it's a great park to camp at, there's a guarded train crossing right there with the bells (ding ding ding ding) and the mandantory 150,000 db train horn at least 4 times a night. If you're a light sleeper, this is not the park for you.

Some of the sites are right along the interstate - you get used to the noise .Access is limited to the westbound side of I-84... so you must travel I-84 past the camp, exit, then turn around and backtrack to get there. Reservations must be made well in advance to guarantee a site for the duration, but there were several open sites while we were there, so if tent camping it wouldn't have been necessary. On the plus side, the showers were free, and facilities all 'round were very nice, and clean. Camping in SP (for DAV) is free, so that was a biggie. If'n I had to pay to camp, I likely would've chosen one of the county parks.

[QUOTE=twintwin]I will strongly recommand to take some sidecar classes, if you have the project to dive into the sidecar world.
These classes have their own rig, and you can safely have a test of the 3 wheels handling. I took two classes with my wife, one in MN with their 250 velorex rig and one in MA with my own rig (R1100GS+ural), great practice, and very nice organisation. Maybe a couple more???... Hi Twin-Twin!!!

Just got back from the Washington State Department of Licensing. I took a number, walked up when I was called. Presented my certificate, wrote a check for $25.00, got my pic taken and was issued a new license with #7 for an endorsement (MC and 3-wheeler). 5 minutes, in and out.
Cool! For those that may not know, your vehicle may (will) be seized if you are pulled over and do not have the proper endorsement for the vehicle for which you are riding/driving in Washington State.
