I am thinking this is wrong, I just did a double take of a ton of Dakar pics here, not one has a curved bottom.

Any clues, I am waiting for an e mail to see the part number on the lable in that picture

Thanks JD

Have you measured...

...checked mounting hole size, etc. to see if it will line up?

Were I you I'd do this before trying to mount it up. I put an aftermarket center stand (not Touratech, but I can't remember brand) on my 03 Dakar and even though it fit, it was a real battle to install by myself.

If the holes line up and are the right size, the only way to know for sure, IMO, is to install and try it out to see if the height is right. Just be aware that during the install you may scuff it up a bit if this one is anything like mine.

BTW, I've never seen a Dakar center stand with curved feet either, but if it works, I wouldn't be concerned.

On mine the clearance for the sidestand is such that I have to either back the sidestand stop all the way out (which makes the sidestand's foot drag in a hard left turn) or leave it in and always remember to put the sidestand out before taking the bike off the center stand.

Once you get the center stand sorted out you'll wonder how you got along without one!

All the Best!
David
