I got rid of the R100S and picked up a 72' Guzzi ambassador. I miss the airhead sometimes- once things settle down a little in my life I plan on having another, probably an R80ST or similar.

A nice old Guzzi is a good thing.

Enjoy it!

Getting a little ahead of myself, but every thread needs some colour picture-photos now and then to keep it cooking along...

Have you decided to keep it and turn it into a rider, or are you fixing it up to resell?

Missed you up at Gary's this past weekend by the way. Gary sent Dyno and I to play in the mud and I later found out it was a rather famous mud hole....he didn't warn us ....made it out OK though....barely... Dave may have some pix.

I'm hanging onto this one. Think it'll be nice when it's done.

Sorry to have missed you guys, was looking forward to riding with you and Dave, but work consumed just a bit too much time. Still managed to see some of the Fly Fest at the Warplane Heritage Museum, though.

Me aulde buddy Rick and the Lysander he flies at the museum. (he headed up the restoration team, too).

That's good to hear. I like the way it starting to look with the original body work.

iirc, The Lysander has a burn rate of 60gph.

Thanks re. the R90/6.

Should I attach RS bars and bar end mirrors and turn it into a "Latte Racer".
