Empty Ride 3-16 (stupid little report)
I set up to go for a ride today. After setting my bike up I found out my battery was dead. I changed my plan to a ride of about 80 miles so I didn't have to get gas and bump start it. I filled up gas at my apartment, jumped the bike, and took off. It was a great day to ride, saw very few other vehicles. I had the roads to myself. Some high speed, some goaty, and some hardpack. I saw a whole lot of nothing. I was in the middle of nowhere, it was sweet.
I hit reserve at 70 miles  (I had gas in my tailbag for backup) The route ![]() ![]() The fun begins ![]() ![]() Rocks like this were everywhere ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful weather but windy as hell. Crosswinds made the dirt interesting ![]() a quick little 360 of previous spot (click on pic for larger version)

How bad was the bump start? Got 2 DRs here, never had to do it.

I have had to bump it before and it is a pain in the butt. If you have a hill to get some speed it isn't bad, but on level ground I get a little workout out of it. It's quite a bit harder to do than my FZR and Seca. I don't know if that has anything to do with the FCR carb on it. just give it a shot oe day for shits and giggles and see how it goes
