Unfortunately it looks nothing like the sweet '83 model you have pictured there. I had one back when they were new. Instead, Honda seems to have decided to reproduce Yamaha's SRX600, 'cept with a bigger lump.

That will be nice to see a retro bike in Honda showrooms.

I had one, too back in '83, it was Pearlwhite/Red just like in the picture. It really has no resemblance to the original.
At least Kawasaki did it right when they resurrected the ELR replica into the ZRX1100.
Nothing wong with the bike, but maybe it should be called the CB1100-C since it's more in tune with the old CB900-C.

. .. . I like it. The new 1100F looks ok, even if looks like a cross between a 400/4 and an SRX 600. If it was painted green, it would look like the little matchbox " honda motorcycle" I had 40 years ago. The one that came with a little yellow trailer.

Honda won't introduce the CB1300SF or CB1300 Super Bol D'or stateside but they think this bike will sell?

Which looks sharper, this?

Or these?

I like the top one. I've seen that tank before. Like on a Musch or something?

I would buy that top one.

That slab-sided gas tank looks like it came from a very early American Chopper episode.

They blew it, copy a CB750F, CB900F or 1100F with modern updates. How hard is that? Give me a early 70s XL350 with disc brakes and a low pipe while they are at it!
