How about a bump and a pic (swiped from here).

How are you CB160 slackers coming along with those projects?

I've got mine 99.9% done, just getting her dialed in and fabricating a taillight/license bracket. I promise pictures tomorrow!

Cool2

Just a sneak peek. I got her together but have been too busy for photo shoot. But I did have to get a quick pic for my avatar.

Full photo spread coming this weekend...

MN Drive, what did you use for mufflers/exhaust?

Hey Minnesota-
I admire what you've done. I finally found some stock header pipes for my 160 racer and it's on to finish the exhaust cheapish. So far I've heard of 'Dunstall' type mufflers but haven't figured out where to get them in a 1 1/4" OD size.

No sign of a battery anywhere - did you figure out a magneto? ~Snail

Battery is tucked neatly under the "bumstop". There are some pics on page 14 of the thread.

I went with Emgo cocktail shakers. I liked the fact that they have removeable baffles and a reducer set to fit 1 3/8" header pipes. $64 each from Dennis Kirk. They sound cool and are plenty loud with the baffles in.

Thumb What a Transfermation

Must say this was great come back! Recently I purchased a 1965 CB160 which was in great shape expect for one plug which refuses to fire, your blow by blow report has given me much encouragement!
