All these shiny looking XTZ's are great but where are all the old school Tenere's on ADVrider?

I thought there would of been quite a few kicking around considering the stories you hear about these things going for ever.

Sorry for the slightly late post in here,was waiting for my registration to go through.
Anyways,here's my 86 XT600Z Tenere in road trim.Has the original wheels with the off road tyres on it for fun times.
So far this thing has cost me an arm and a leg and nearly my sanity with a few annoying little problems.But once it fires up and you get that noise,it brings a smile to my face.

I had the original model, 30 litre baffled tank and all.
I sold it to a mate, and he asked me to mind it for him while he was out of town. I rode it a coupla times and just had to ring hm and ask if I could buy it back. A great price was agreed, deal done. I went out at lunchtime to go to the wreckeras to get a sidecover - bike gone, never seen again. I'd still have it if it wasn't for the thieving lowlifes. Jeez, it even had a full tank, they could have ridden it from Canberra to Melbourne.
I've had a few XT550 and 600's since, but that was the best of the lot by quite a margin. Comfy as. F & R racks and highway pegs, it was a nice bike to chew up the miles. Keep the faith fellers.

G'day All,

here's mine (hope the pic works, I'm new to this). Or at least, that's what she looked like before last week. I had a little problem last week on the way to work - right leg/ankle is a shambles, fairly lengthy surgery and recovery period expected. My fault entirely, not doing anything silly, just a bit close to a bus when he swerved to avoid a stopped car - he swerved, I didn't!

Bike came out much better than me - just a cracked RH fairing and dinged tank. A great bike for getting around town - I was planning to get my first dirt ride in last weekend, I guess a few months more planning wont hurt?

A very friendly fellow rider stopped and got the bike off the road, arranged to store it for the day in a business nearby and waited for the ambo - gotta love your fellow man! Also gotta love helmets, gloves, jackets, pants, boots and back protectors - better than money in the bank.

Does anyone know where to get second hand parts (tank/fairing) around Sydney, or anywhere in OZ?
