It's been a long time coming, but we're finally done with the Superenduro rear tank. We put some miles on it last weekend, after 192 miles on road and off, the bike is still running great. The mounting is wonderfully solid, the plumbing works as intended, and the look is very rally.

Capacity is 2.2 gallons, and the price is $395 including everything: petcock, cap, plumbing, CPC quick disconnect fitting, custom powdercoated brackets, stainless hardware, check valve, etc. They will ship next week, all that remains is to receive the brackets from powdercoating.

Per the thread, this first round of tanks does not fit the 950/990 Adventure correctly. At the mechanical bottoming point of the shock, there is slight interference with the chain guard, so these are sold as SE only tanks. A modification which raises the chain tunnel is complete and the tanks are hopefully 4 weeks out, but that date is not yet carved in stone.

The tank works with, but does not require, the stock KTM footpegs. Based on photos, the tank should work with both the Touratech racks as well as the KTM luggage, but if it does not, I will be more than happy to take the tank back and even cover shipping.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

To order, visit http://www.advtank.com (and there are more detailed photos there as well).

Put me on the list for one for Slash (my 990 Adventure).

You've done some thoughtful design and engineering on this, Ned. The product looks very good.

I can hardly wait to be able to sit on that rock hard saddle for 2 more hours without stopping.

ADV owners, I have a tentative date to receive the updated tanks of December 1. But don't hold me to it or act disappointed if I miss it by a few days/ weeks/ months/ years...

As soon as I have a delivery date I firmly believe in, I'll open the website to do that.
