I have no affiliation with HT and I have not used one of there pipes. I would be very surprised if there is any difference in hp numbers to Ned's setup. As for a dyno chart if there is not one on there site give them a call. Berg |

I just installed BBriggs' Aux Side Tank today. Mounts up clean and neat. Took my time and finished in 40 minutes. Kit is complete with all hardware, petcock, and fuel line. Thanks Berg....
I'll report back after some AZ torture tests.

Did a 120 mile loop though mixed gavel, sand, rock and some boulder infested washes. I guess the biggest compliment I can give the new tank is, I didn't even notice it was there. No perceptable change in the handling or weight distribution.
Ran with the main tank off to see the milage on the aux. tank, 61 miles before I had to turn the main on. That will give me a total range of 183 miles. Just what I was looking for! Great work Berg! |

I'm pretty consistently getting about 170 miles of dirt from this setup now, and over 200 if I baby the throttle/cruise.

Just got back from a 1000+ mile run in Baja where the Aux Tank was great! I had ample time to shoot pics while others had to refill their tanks.

Hi
I was wondering how well the tank works on that 990. on the road comeing out of a hard lean of a conner, do you feel the weight on the side. how much more miles you think you get out of a fill up. street, dirt, I have a 950 adv and looks like a good deal for a longer range. Thanks Rick

So does this system gravity-feed into the stock tank on the 950SE? Would it work on a SM?
Im in London and I'm thinking long and hard about the new 990SM! Already has 19l stock, suspension is only 10mm less than the ADV (probably just a spacer) and the UK Pound is in the shitter so a new one would be right around $10k.... Plus, I kinda like the look of knobbies on street rims like some guys run.

I have not had a SM in the shop to see if the subframes are same. The aux tank does gravity feed into the main. I'll try to have a look at SM and get back to you.
