Thumb can't say thank you enough to everyone~

Wow Les (& everyone)... this is way cool of you to do this for Rider Down! We've gotten to know Bruce pretty well these past few months and met him in person at Endurocross. What a great thing you are doing! We knew nothing about this. Wait till I tell Chris!
See you in Laughlin.

Suggestion, draw from all entries over all donations and give everyone who donated at any given time a chance to win.

If you go with the "one entry per auction" then that would give those who entered more often a better chance, thus, encouraging others to donated more often??
Thats what I have in mind. You never loose your name in the hopper, and after the V2R 09 the bike will be auctioned off to it's final home.

I did not have a chance in Parker to mention this, but I have been working to do this for a few months now. I have been involved with RiderDown for a long time now, I did a fund raiser for them at the 06 V2R and your right, Bruce and the rest of the board members are truly good people who really want to help.
I will call this week..

Les, I think you need to settle this... If it is your intention to have a final owner at the end of this, I really like bombers idea above.

Bomber, you got any ideas for the name of this team in 09?

Jake
Jake, I know it seems a little vague, but it will be the final auction of the bike to it's "in my mind: final owner. They may if they wish continue on with original idea of passing it along, but that will be up to them. and To clear it up, a donors name never comes off the raffle list unless there a winner, so that way they have many chances to be a winner and Team Member.

Les, this is an awesome idea.

I'm in, but rather than making a donation straight to Riderdown, I'm going to do something different. I've got 3 copies of Dual Sport Riding Techniques, and 3 T-shirts, that I'll add to the raffle, so that after the TT finds a new home, others can still get something out of it.

And, I'm gonna sticky this.

Let's get this rolling!

Ned - thank you! That's a great idea that adds a bit more interest to the TT500 deal.

Maybe we should come up with a new video series covering stuff like "How To Start your Vintage TT500" and "Vintage Desert Racing for Young Guns", etc, etc.?
