need tires in Las Vegas...

It looks like this set of Michelin PR2's will got about 13,000 miles so I reckon I should get another set lined up. I rode around to some places here in LV and was underwhelmed. I'm not sure WTF is up with Carter Motorsports but the folks there could give a shit less as to whether I spent $1 or $500 at their place.

Cycle Gear was better but they must have the wheels off the bike...that's a problem for me as I'm just here for a couple of months (@ Nellis AFB) and can't take the wheels off.

There has got to be a decent place in LV to get decent prices for tires with reasonable service...ride in and ride out the same day.

Is there such a place in the LV area?

Thanks for the help!

I have always had rims off of bike so not realy sure who to recomend but I always go to Best Cycle on tropicana and the 95 or to MTC (Motorcycle tire center on Charleston and eastern. MTC might take off your rims but I know Best wont. All of the big dealerships pretty much blow here, I have not had a pleasant experience at any of them. I have heard good things about las vegas BMW

Thanks for the info. I surely don't mind paying a few extra bucks for the convenience of same day service.

Wish I was back in Italy where the local tire shop guy would stop working on cars to get the moto guys in and out. There, you can go to most any place that sells tires....they sell all tires, moto and car alike.

It looks like August when I need tires, I'll check the BMW shop here in LV.

See ya down the road.

BMW Las Vegas

I changed my tires (TKC80) today at BMW Dealership in Las Vegas.

Price was ok compared to the others in town (even 20 Dollars less!).
Only one thing to note. They mounted my new front wheel backwards (rotation) so they had to take the wheel out again ...

Anyhow - the guys are ok and changed the tires the same day i was callling.
