It wasn't that the place was still threatened with more more flows back when we flew over, it's just that the previous one cut off all access. 'Course the new flows might change even that! The locals love to talk about him and his little place.
We're planning on doing a ride out to his joint in the near future, might be the perfect break-in ride for the next WR, supposed to be on tomorrow's barge....

You know you are a KLR rider when your neigbor spends four times as much for his bike compared to yours, rides it 20% as much but is positive that he is the real biker because he spent more!

Actually, I probably spend a lot on my KLR bike than the normal premium brand buyers. If you include gas and tires.

You've changed your mind seven different times concerning tire combinations. You can never get that perfect road/sand/mud/rock/gravel/snow ratio that we all strive for.

Best bargain in motorcycling, IMHO.
Can someone post a pic of a Barbie bike? I have my suspicions as to what it is, but would like to see one.

You know you're a KLR rider when...

When you considered washing it once, but then thought, "why bother?".

Shopping for a new topcase consists of snooping around behind a supermarket for an empty milk crate.

You know you are a KLR rider when you go to Tupperware parties looking for ideas for side cases.
