That's taking it (off) to a whole new level. Nice to see it stripped down, even better when I don't have to put it back together.

Capo guys, please share info...

I have a Tuono and love the Ape thing. I also have a BMW F650GS that while I love it, it is just too uncomfortable on the slab and I am thinking about trading. Right now the BMW is my commuter bike and the Capo would go into that role as well.

Question, what type of fuel mileage should one expect on the Capo? I know it has basically a detuned version of the Tuono engine. My Tuono gets barely 30 mpg, but then it has Akra slip ons and is running a rich fuel map.

I know I will nto get what the Beemer gets, but what would me normal for a mid sized town commute? Not stop and go traffic. Medium intensity traffic.

Thanks,
KS

Most guys seem to get 38-42 mpg US. I get 32-34, but Capo's seem to have a recurring problem of CO not being set right from the factory, which lowers fuel milage. In the spring, I'll make the drive to McHenry and get my CO level checked and adjusted if necessary.

38 mpg is a good figure for me, done more than 40, even loaded 2up, it depends on my right hand.

Yup,thats been happening since they killed the Quota...for the Capo(2001)
now the Capo is going just as the Stelvio is due out...no?
But after the dust settles on that and some Aprilia Motard releases, who
knows...

Interesting. These 3 existing Aprilia dorsoduro pictures are quite promising.

I wonder if Aprilia will put the new Mana automatic in an adventure tourer?
