GSBIKER, super nice to meet you. Let me know if you made it to the Midwest Mountainerring Expo today. I'll be there Sunday 10am-3pm working at the Borton Overseas booth. Stop on over ya'll and say hello.

Daggy ~ Thanks for fixing the scooter lights. I've read all the brochures and have picked three farms.

Martin made it back safe from Aero and proceeds to snore on the sofa. Speaking of Aero - Andie's father died this past week and I just sent a card off to him today.

Klay ~ We all agreed that we need you to give us the next date for the Meat & Greet.

Wow, today sure was fun.
It was really great to meet more ADV folks this morning. Thank you for your hospitality and the lead on the mountaineering expo. It is on the calendar for tomorrow.

That would be my choice of salmon omelet, with stuffed french toast (two orders actually) on the side:
Too bad I couldn't make it but the good news is I got the KLR running today that hasn't happened for about 3 years. I know, I know I suck.

Next time...

Great time on Saturday thanks to JJ and Kevin for setting it up. A special thanks to Kevin for not showing up . I keed, I keed - I hope all is well in the pet realm.

A couple of things to pass on:
Fleet Farm is selling ROK straps now. And they are cheap $2.99-4.99 for the adjustable straps.
And I also wanted to let you guys and gals know about another good deal I found. If you go to the Minnesota Book Store in St. Paul (http://www.comm.media.state.mn.us/bo.../bookstore.asp) they sell large (18”x28”) detailed county maps for $.50 each. Very good for planning dirt road adventures!

Anyone up for dinner before the Lois Pryce thing on Tuesday? Somewhere cheap, please. I'm leaving work (in Plymouth) around 3:30 and heading towards Bloomington. ETA of 4ish. Seminar is at 7.

Fuddruckers or Famous Dave's?

Not sure about the other people in the restaurant; I was too busy worshipping my own.

You bringing the KLR to Streeter's on Saturday?

I'll bring pictures of today's fun at the South Shore. Fun, except the ride back in the rain got it all clean again.

ok, there is: http://www.bloomingtonfrankies.com/ who doesn't like Pizza?

but really I believe this is a must--->http://www.pancheros.com/

If they actually have Triangular Plates, it would take Klay's "pain in the ass food" to a whole new level.

what say you?

May 9th - MinnySota Gravel Roads South

One-day, rain or shine, 250+miles dirt/mud/gravel Southern MN rural roads. Leave from Leo's South at 9AM, should be back before 7PM. Always within bail-out distance of I-35 if you chose to do so.

Not an organized ride, chance of getting lost along the way. If you want to tag along, great! Moderate paced, gas stops every 75 miles or so. I'll be riding my trusty DR650, my wife will be riding her DR200.

Everybody welcome to join us.

Cowboy2 & C5Babe

PS - we'll make one of those meet & greets sooner or later....
