Now that I am somewhat out of the severely intoxicated state I somehow got into yesterday, I can comment that the event was splendid in every way. Much beer, scotch and food of course, but also many good laughs, and lots of big talk about the many rallies and road trips to look forward to next year.

And Jayne hats.

So, pretty good afternoon out.

Thanks to the Barnyards for ferrying me about, and putting up with my constant cries of "just time for one last beer!".

My head hurts. Oh well.

The fiddle player was hawt.

After retrieving Grainbelch from the airport this afternoon (despite trying to get him on the No Fly list, which I apparently failed at) we found ourselves perched upon bar stools at the Northbound Smokehouse. A microbrewery/smokehouse-how could you go wrong here? The smoked fish was most excellent, especially the trout.

This venue has promise.

Good food and Great Beer. Not only their beer brewed on site, but all the other local brewers too. I should have put my $1000 bucks down when I had the chance. I would be drinking free.

Granted, I only went to public schools... but I'm having a little trouble with the math on this.

Well I guess it not free technically, but I would not be paying for it now. I think when they were looking for investors "Free" beer was one of the perks, maybe a dividend or something somewhere in there too I am guessing.
